Yicheng Ni, Professor Emeritus at KU Leuven (a top 50 global university), where he founded and served for many years as the Director of the Research Unit for Integrated Diagnosis and Treatment until his honorary retirement in 2022. He has authored several hundred SCI-indexed papers and monographs, holds over ten internationally granted patents, and has received dozens of national and international awards. He is the sole recipient worldwide of both the Herbert M. Stauffer Award in medical imaging and the Elliott Lasser Award in contrast media. He has been named among the top 2% of the world's most cited scientists and ranked first in his specialty by an internationally recognized Key Opinion Leader (KOL) institution.
